IVOA 2007 Beijing Tour Service Program

Ladies and Gentlemen:

You are warmly welcomed for attending the IVOA 2007 Beijing. The conference will be held from 14th to18th May, 2007 in Beijing Oriental Culture Hotel. Onsite registration starts on May 13th 2007. China Swan International Tours is appointed to provide the following services to ensure the conference goes more smoothly and successfully.

Room reservation:

• A: Dongfang Oriental Culture Hotel Deluxe Standard:

  • RMB 650/P.N. (including: western breakfast + service fee)

• B: Dongfang Orient Culture Hotel Deluxe Suite (King Size bed):

  • RMB 980/P.N. (including: western breakfast + service fee)

• C: Botai hotel (3star, about 1KM from Dongfang Oriental Culture Hotel, 10 minutes walk) Standard Room:

  • RMB 280 /P.N. (including Chinese breakfast + service fee)

Remarks regarding room reservation:

1. Free internet service in all types of rooms.

2. The above mentioned rooms rate only provide from 13th to 19th of May, before or after this period another additional RMB 100 /P.N. must be added.

3. Please prepay one night room rate as deposit if room reservation required, due to the hot season. The rest of the payment will be paid on the registration desk. We will provide the confirmation to the room reservation via E-mail when the deposit received. We can guarantee the room with the reservation provided before 15th of April, others depending on the room quantity remains.

4. Cancellation before 20th of April, full refund (subject to bank service charge)

5. Cancellation after 21th of April, no refund.

Lunch during the conference:

• Venue: Grand floor of Dongfang Oriental Culture Hotel

• Type: Buffet (cold and hot dishes with Chinese and western, beer, soft drinks, coffee, candy, fruit etc.)

• Price: RMB 90 per person

• Payment: Cash on the registration desk

Airport pick up service:

• Price: RMB 280/p.t.

• Payment: Cash on the registration desk

• Remarks: Please provide the flight No, arrival/exit time and date

Beijing one day tour:

• A1. Great Wall and Ming Tomb one day tour (Daily)

  • Price: RMB 460/p  (Includes: private vehicle, English-speaking guide, Lunch, Entrance fee of the site)

• A2. Old Beijing Hutong Tour (afternoon, 16th of May)

  • Price:  RMB 380/p  (includes: private vehicle, rickshaw, boat, English-speaking guide, dinner on boat, entrance fee of the site)

  • Remarks: This route must be over 16pax

• A3. Forbidden City, Tian'men Square, Temple of Heaven one day tour (Mon, Wed, Fri)

  • Price: RMB 420/p (includes: private vehicle, English-speaking guide, lunch, entrance fee of the site)

• A4. Lama Temple, Summer Palace, Beijing Zoo (Grand Panda) one day tour (Tue, Thu Sat)

  • Price: RMB 420/p (includes: private vehicle, English-speaking guide, lunch, Entrance fee of the site)

  • Price for double room: Service charge RMB 6640 + Air tickets RMB 5740=RMB 12380/p

  • Price for Single room: Service charge RMB 8710 + Air tickets RMB 5740=RMB 14450/p

• B2. 19th - 23rd of May: Beijing/Shanghai/Suzhou/Hangzhou/Beijing (4N5D)

  • Price for double room: Service RMB 3600 + Air ticket RMB 2580 = RMB 6180/p

  • Price for single room: Service RMB 4730 + Air ticket RMB 2580 = RMB 7310/p

• B3. 19th - 24th of May: Beijing/Xi'an/Guilin/Beijing (5N6D)

  • Price for double room: Service RMB 3800 + Airticket RMB 4480 = RMB 8280/p

  • Price for single room: Service RMB 4740 + Airticket RMB 4480 = RMB 9220/p

Remarks on post conference tour:

1. Please register on the registration form for the preferred tour before 15th of April.

2. 30% of the payment for the tour should be paid as down payment together with the room reservation for the conference when registered. The rest of the payment will be paid on the registration desk.
